I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to meet people I like hosting people to learn more about different cultures and getting maybe new travel ideas it is for me a pleasure to host and help arriving people 😊 At the other side when I travel I really enjoy meeting locals to get to know the culture of the country I'm visiting it is just an most times untouristic way to get these experience which I really like! If no one can host me during my time it is okay then I just book a hotel or hostel but for me this is not even quite the same it is not that easy to find a host as a male person here but if I do I'm happy for every offer I get 😊

There is not only one great experience I made. As example: my road trip through Guatemala El Salvador and Honduras during that trip I experienced a lot about the culture about the language and about the backpacking life, because of spending every night in a hostel :) one part of the road I was crossing by a river which was really crazy! Iraq: my first ''dangerous'' country in the opinion of the media and the mind of most people there a great experience was going to a amusement park it was just a thing I wasn't expected overall Iraq was really nice and the people super friendly same like in Jordan: it was amazing locals went to me and just welcome me to Jordan talked a bit to me and just left that was for me just a great feeling because I felt really welcome. Also in Jordan I was spending 4 nights in desert I never was so relaxed like at these nights. I meet really nice people from all over the world. Botswana: Botswana was amazing to see wild animals like lions or giraffes living free in the nature. In Botswana I was spending a night in the chobe national park saw a lot of different animals and that was amazing. Iceland: Iceland got an amazing nature not that many tourists yet but sadly it is getting way more and probably will destroy a lot of the pure nature. I went there during winter I was freezing so bad but it was such a great trip because of this incredibly beautiful nature. Finland: I haven't got the chance to see the northern lights in Iceland but I got lucky in Lapland in Finland that was one of my goals I had in my life and the freezing was really worth it. Not many people around me during that trip really quite and just amazing! Dominica: In Dominica I went to the jungle a bit after a hurricane. I saw a fisherman to which I went to speak with. He told me about the hurricane and told me that he is going fishing every week to get out of the everyday life we talked a bit Bahrain: Bahrain was for me always a country where I would just visit to say I was there and finishing my goal when I visited it in combination with Saudi-Arabia I was surprised how much I liked it due the help from Couchsurfing it became one of my favorite countries so far! I had a great time and saw so much of the country also I learned that every country can have something amazing and special you should see everything with your own eyes before you judge it I'm thankful for this experience and all the other experience I made during all of my travels and I'm looking forward for every new experience good and bad ones :) Would love to share stories together 😊
