Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm Mo, or as some friends call me, Moka. I’m a computer engineering student at Politecnico di Torino, but don’t let the tech background fool you—I’m all about balance and enjoying life outside of code. From my early days in Tehran to my new adventures in Italy, I’ve always embraced different experiences that shape who I am.
I’ve worn many hats in my life, from a floral designer creating stunning arrangements to being a barista perfecting the art of espresso. And, of course, my passion for technology has taken me from building music bots in Python to designing interactive games. When I’m not immersed in my projects, you’ll find me hiking up a mountain for that breathtaking view, snapping photos of city life, or just soaking in the vibrant energy of a new place. I love learning new languages and am currently adding Italian and Spanish to my repertoire. Life for me is all about exploring, connecting, and constantly learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because nothing beats the feeling of meeting someone with a story to tell and a different perspective on life. I’m here to connect with travelers and hosts who share the same curiosity about the world as I do. I believe that behind every culture, there are traditions, ideas, and untold stories waiting to be discovered. Sharing experiences with people from different walks of life has taught me more than any book or class ever could.
Plus, I’m always up for a good conversation—whether it’s about music, the latest tech trends, or that hidden gem café around the corner. I’d love to share my stories, learn from yours, and maybe even practice some Italian and English along the way. Let’s make those unforgettable moments that turn strangers into lifelong friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of the vibrant beats of hip-hop, the smooth vibes of R&B, and the raw energy of rap music. My playlists are a mix of classics and hidden gems that keep me motivated and inspired. When it comes to movies and shows, I'm a sucker for epic storytelling—think Harry Potter, the intensity of Breaking Bad, and the mind-bending twists of Westworld. Books? I love getting lost in stories that spark imagination and curiosity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had the privilege of conquering the top three highest mountains in Iran, each climb pushing my limits and rewarding me with breathtaking views that few get to experience. Alongside these epic ascents, I’ve taken part in marathons, trail runs, and skyrunning competitions—challenges that tested my endurance and love for adventure. These experiences have shown me the beauty of nature, the power of resilience, and the thrill of going beyond my comfort zone.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m excited to share my experiences and passions with others. Whether it’s tips on mountain climbing, running, or navigating the challenges of competitive sports like trail and skyrunning, I love exchanging knowledge and inspiring others to embrace adventure. I’m also passionate about discussing technology, sharing insights into software development, and exploring the world of innovation.
On the learning side, I’m eager to understand different cultures more deeply, enhance my Italian and English, and exchange ideas about personal growth and self-awareness. I enjoy meaningful discussions about the world inside us—how we perceive life, make sense of our experiences, and work on becoming the best versions of ourselves. I believe that talking about culture and how we can shape it leads to a richer, more connected life.
Above all, I’m here to create genuine connections and share moments that enrich both travel and everyday life. Whether hosting or being hosted, I aim to leave each encounter with new perspectives, shared laughter, and lasting memories.
