**About Me:**

In 2022, I quit my job, moved out of my flat, and set off into the unknown with a one-way ticket to Athens. My journey began in Greece with an Erasmus Plus training course, followed by three unforgettable weeks in Crete, where I helped renovate a house and even flew in a small plane.

Next, I spent a month in Turkey, exploring Istanbul and 13 other cities, discovering hidden canyons, mountain peaks, and local cuisine. After a brief return to Hungary for a friend's wedding, I continued my travels through Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, and Portugal.

In Spain, I volunteered in a completely remote mountainous retreat with no mobile connection, relying solely on solar panels and stream water. After that, I lived in a van, exploring the southern part of Spain with a German friend I met, feeling completely free on the road. We traveled to places like Xabia, Altea, Alicante, Granada, and stayed with hippie communities in Orgiva. We ventured to Sevilla, Malaga, Gibraltar, and Tarifa, enjoying breathtaking views and incredible sunsets.

In 2023 I started to work again as a data engineer.
Recently, in 2024, I took my travels to Asia. I spent 80 days balancing work and exploration. In the Philippines, I spent a month in Palawan, exploring by scooter and struggling with the internet connection. I then traveled to Malaysia, discovering Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Langkawi. My journey ended in the vibrant cities of Bangkok and Pattaya in Thailand. It was challenging to manage a full-time job during these travels, but I made it. My return was tough, with a 24-hour journey home via Shanghai while battling a fever.

Now, I'm back in Budapest, living alone in a small studio, and open to hosting. I cherish the memories and connections from my travels and eagerly await my next adventure.

Shorty, what motivates me?
The new experiences, people, adventure, and the unknown.
What brings me happiness?
The freedom, love, sharing, company, openness, motorcycles, and sport.

What else?
I am riding motorbikes since I was a kid, and now I have a Kawasaki Z900. I've done a lot of go-karting, and I tried all kinds of sports, my favorites are street workout, wall climbing, yoga, sometimes squash, I used to run.
I love cooking, most of the time I cook for myself, recently I tried a lot of vegetarian recipes.
I am really social, spending time with people charges me a lot, I also like parties, beers, and good wines. I also read a lot, mostly self-development and psychological books and sometimes Hungarian literature.

I am straight. ( I just leave it here because of some past experiences 😀🤦‍♂️)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing initially as a host, overcoming language barriers and convincing flatmates about the beauty of welcoming strangers. Little did I know, it was a game-changer. Hosting became a window to the world—connecting with people from different corners, sharing cultures, and forging friendships. As a traveler, Couchsurfing allowed me to explore the globe, immersing myself in the lives, meals, drinks, and perspectives of gracious hosts. It's not just a platform; it's a gateway to a richer, more interconnected world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a big movie buff, but I enjoy films with good company.
Love cartoons like The Simpsons, Rick and Morty, and BoJack Horseman, Family Guy, South Park.
Series-wise, I've dived into Sons of Anarchy, Narcos, Breaking Bad, and the fantasy world of Game of Thrones.

Electronic beats, especially DnB and techno, indie, and some chill music are my go-to.

And when it comes to books, I delve into personal development and psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From taking an unplanned 3-month leave that extended into an 8-month exploration across Europe.
to spending an unforgettable 69 hours without money, phone, food, or accommodation with 4 people I met just days before. We hitchhiked through a cold, unfamiliar area, finding shelter in different houses each night. This unique journey, filled with unexpected connections and shared humanity, encapsulates the essence of my adventurous spirit.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is a continuous exchange of inspiration, sometimes without us even realizing it. I firmly believe that the most straightforward path to learning and teaching is to remain open to each other.

I bring a mix of skills to the table. I can teach you the enchanting art of playing the kalimba, capture cool portraits, shoot mesmerizing drone footage, create immersive 360 videos. If you're up for it, I can take you on an unforgettable motorcycle ride. Let's also share moments over drinks and meals, turning simple exchanges into lasting memories. The possibilities are endless when we open ourselves to the richness of shared experiences!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My most valuable offering is my company—I'm here to share time and create genuine connections. Let's get to know each other.

I bring a kaleidoscope of experiences to the table. I can share stories about motorcycling adventures, my Couchsurfing escapades, and insights from Erasmus+ projects.

In the kitchen, I'll whip up some delicious food to tickle your taste buds. If you're into fitness, join me for calisthenics workouts. And for the memories, I can capture beautiful portrait pictures, stunning drone shots, and craft funny 360 videos and pictures.
