Overview
About Me
I'm a smiley person, both for being optimisitc and grateful for all the gifts I received from life.
I really like to relate with people, make them laugh and support them as much as I can.
If I had to sum up my approach to people and life with some quotations, I would choose these ones:
"Love and do what you will” (St. Augustine)
" ... and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make" (the Beatles)
" Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end" (John Lennon)
PREVIOUSLY ON 'MY LIFE':
Right after my graduation (Philosophy), I flew to South America and lived two amazing experiences in Brazil (6 months) and Argentina (5 months), working as a volounteer for local ONGs.
Back to Italy (Milan area), I've been working both in small and multinational companies, mainly in the HR department. During the last 10 years I kept on travelling through Europe (with one exception: Japan), with friends or by myself, backpacking most of the time:.
Recently I walked accross the 'via Francigena' (Dec/Jan 2016) and the Camino de Santiago (Nov/Dec 2017).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the best way to know a place is to see it through the eyes of those who live there.
Being hosted is a great opportunity to meet new people and to be introduced into the real life and costumes of the city/country we are visiting.
As soon as I'll be settled, I'll be more than happy to return the favour :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I slept in a cabin in the Amazon rainflorest, hosted by seringueiros (rubber-tappers).
Many many kilometers away from electical lighting or motorized vehicles: the best starry ski I ever saw.
What I Can Share with Hosts
House-cleaning and dish-washing skills with proved field experience: several years spent working for the company 'chez moi'.
Though I'm italian, I must confess I'm not such a good cook... but for sure you can expect a 'spaghetti alla carbonara' properly made :)
