About Me

I'm a 22 year old who came up to Massachusetts to work with a solar company and things have been great so far. I'm a pretty down to Earth guy, I have a daughter back home in Maryland so I'm great with kids, but I'm working away now while she's young so I'll never have to when she's older. I'm chasing financial freedom so I can have the time and freedom to chase my true passions which include helping people, teaching people, traveling, and there's so many other things I plan on checking off the list before I kick the bucket. I also read a ton and hold learning very near and dear to my heart. I suggest the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle if you've never read it, it WILL change your life. Peace and Love, Roland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Initial response in my head: "B*tch, I need somewhere to stay."

Professional Response that I will include here (which is also true): I love the opportunity to meet new people and I want to be closer to the town I manage for my solar projects as well as the stained glass studio I work at which is downtown.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything that tells a story. (Except Scream Rock or Heavy Metal.. Really can't handle that)

Movies: I usually prefer a good comedy or stand up act.

Books: Anything that can help me learn more about myself or those around me. Things to help me better myself as a person and my surrounding community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know man.. I'm pretty boring. However, I did read the whole Harry Potter series in two weeks including book seven when I was in Middle School. I found wizards a little more educational than algebra, I guess.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wow, I don't like being put on the spot like this..

My lesson for today is love yourself more than anybody else possibly could, that way if someone changes their love for you, you don't change your love for you.

Learn: I want to learn what "learn" means here.. Its very vague.

Share: I'll gladly share my playlists, booklists, and maybe a recipe or two if you're lucky.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a dynamite chef, very handy so i fix shit including emotional shit (I listen), and I give free compliments. What's not to love?
