I’m Jeimmy, I’m 32 years old and I was born in Bogota, capital of Colombia. I am a business administrator, specialized in the capital and finance market; I worked for 12 years in the largest bank in Colombia and I will always be grateful for all that it gave me (friends, stories, learning, study, stability, quality of life). Now I live in the United States fulfilling one of my biggest dreams, I am part of an NGO that works with volunteers in Africa and Brazil, we support projects to fight against poverty, malnutrition and control of epidemics (HIV and Malaria); I am also improving my English and I want to share many experiences with people, I love sharing and live life 100%. In love with every second and all the gifts that God has given me; I enjoy traveling and getting to know new places and people, I would continue doing it all my life if I could, I think it is the best way to experience experiences and leave the comfort zone. In love with my country, Colombia is an awesome place. I like to practice some sports. I enjoy this and nature, when you are riding a bicycle and listening to the sound of birds and the wind, your mind and heart just concentrate on the word "HAPPINESS".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm part of a volunteer team, that is learning how to change the world from little things.
We will travel at the end of October to Africa or either Brazil to apply what we learnt in 6 months.
Thus, we have a big task that is about fundraising, so we will be capable to travel.
In that way, we travel around some cities, doing this.

I'm Shakira's fan; However I love all the music, I love learning about the music of other cultures. I love reading, any genre is welcome, although I am passionate about novels. My best book so far (Trini, a yes to love) I love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I leave my comfort zone, leave my family, my house, my work, my friends, my routine, my whole life; for being part of a volunteer program and traveling to Africa to help a little to this world in which we live.
