Hello everybody! My name is Riikka and I'm curious and warm person who likes long conversations. I might be a bit shy at first, but don't worry: when we get to know each other, I'll came out of my shell.

I like every kinds of art and I love to visit museums, art exhibitions and concerts. Like most of the finnish people, I really like the nature too.

Couchsurfing is an interesting and new way to experience the world. I have couchsurfed a little bit with my sister and meeting new people has opened my eyes. It's unbelievable how one's attitude of other countries and one's native country changes when you meet people who are living their every-day-life in other country. These interactions of our cultures allow us to compare our different manners, opinions and ways of life. Most importantly, it brings us also closer together.

I like a lot less well-known, indie-kind-of bands and artists, mostly finnish ones. However, my music taste is pretty vast.

My favorite movie is definitely Amélie by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. I love the details and the atmosphere of the movie.

My favorite author is Astrid Lindgren and I like all of her books such as: Mio, my Son and The brothers Lionheart. I also like poems.
