Overview
About Me
I like the nature and wild camping, hiking, swimming, good books, rivers, sailing boats, meeting people, cooking over the fire, gardening, learning new things, chocolate making, September, good food, coconuts, mountains, yoga, mythology, fresh fruit, British humour, starry nights, tree climbing, feathers and the challenge of the next corner.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I prefer local knowledge over comforts of a hotel room and can't think of a better way to learn about a new place and its people.
Music, Movies, and Books
I can enjoy a wide range of genres and would be hard pressed to pick an absolute favourite.
I do love books by Neil Gaiman - all of them, Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, The Dark Tower by Stephen King but also The Grapes of Wrath, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, The Little Prince, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Lord of the Rings,...
I have a thing for British comedy - Blackadder is a very fine example.
Don't have a particular taste when it comes to music - it all depends on the mood and circumstances.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dared to start travelling on my own - best decision I could have done.
