I love to learn about cultures, I don't think there is a more fun way to explore this then do it in combination with travel and having the ability to really learn cultures by joining locals
One Amazing Thing I've Done
When I was 15 I took a 20 year old crappy bike on the train to Copenhagen en cycled to Odense together with an unknown Belgium guy I met on the forums. It's the most amazing thing I have done so far, what a journey!
