To quote: « It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive. »

This quote is used by the « 16personalities-test » which qualified me as a campaigner, that is someone who is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer, I did a roadtrip with my sister in CA (USA) and during this trip we used her account to get in touch with local people who wanted to host us. The experience was MIND BLOWING!! I have met one of the nicest people I have ever encountered. This was especially the case for Joe Alessi (another fellow coach surfer). There are simply no words to describe how kind, nice and fun this man is. He showed me how Couchsurfing is not just another platform but an actual extremely interesting and exciting community of which I wanted to be part. I simply love meeting new people with different backgrounds and sharing the most incredible and memorable experiences with them.
