Hey there! My name is Chris, I'm 26 years old and live in Flechtorf close to Wolfsburg. In 2017, I lived in Japan as an exchange student for the duration of six months. I work as a Scientific Associate at the University in Wolfsburg. In my spare time I learn Japanese, play video games, meet my friends or watch a good movie.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
During my Bachelor studies I worked at the International Student Office of my University where I got the opportunity to meet a lot of people from all over the world. Ever since then, meeting new people from different countries has been of my greatest pleasures. I highly enjoy talking with people who have different cultural backgrounds, since there is so much you can learn from each other in my opinion.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music. I particularly enjoy listening to Metal, EDM and Japanese Rock. My favorite movie franchise is The Lord of the Rings. I love the setting, the characters and the soundtrack by Howard Shore. I also have a place in my heart for Sci-Fi movies. My favorite one would be Arrival with Amy Adams as the lead protagonist. I don't really read that many books, but when I do, it's usually a short novel with a Sci-Fi setting.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
My exchange semester in Japan as a whole is my most cherished experience. I've always dreamed about going there, but I would have never believed that I would actually get the opportunity to stay there for such a long time period. The people are amazingly friendly, the food is out of this world and the old temples and shrines are a sight to behold.
