ABOUT ME

My Chinese first name is 蕙如, Hui(蕙) in Chinese means orchid, Ru(如) in Chinese means according one's wishes.

I’m a passionate traveler, philosopher, kitesurfer, and most of all, a huge life lover. While studying philosophy and international trade, I discovered that my heart was in exploring the world, engaging with new cultures, and pushing my limits in every way I could. A three-month solo backpacking trip across Europe made me realize that life isn’t meant to be lived sitting still or following routines that don’t ignite your soul.

Kitesurfing has become one of my greatest passions. From the first moment I took up the sport, I was hooked on the freedom and thrill of it, and since then, I’ve worked hard to reach competition level. I believe every day is an opportunity to learn and grow, and I’m always trying to pack as much adventure and learning into each day as possible.

When I’m not on the water or buried in books, you can find me exploring local foods, meeting people from all walks of life, and just embracing the spontaneity of life. This winter, I’m excited to take my backpack to Italy and live a month of full immersion in food, culture, and nature. And next year, I’m planning to volunteer at a kitesurfing project in Brazil—looking forward to connecting with other surfers and taking my skills to the next level.
