Hi, There! I’m Tracy, a fraternal twin and aunt to one from Jo’burg, South Africa. I like to think of myself as ambitious and adventurous and relentlessly say “Yes!” to opportunities that allow me to stretch beyond my comfort zone. I’m grounded by my love for my loved ones and take my responsibility as BAE (Best Aunty Ever) quite seriously. Having a healthy respect for our time on earth and living in the moment keep me present enough to want to live life to the fullest. I grew up in a melting pot of culture and customs. We have eleven local tribes in SA and friends from all over the continent who have nurtured my love for meeting new people and getting to know their stories. As a result, I’m that person whose ears you can talk off without fear. I left the borders of my beautiful country for the first time in 2018 to travel to the beautiful and hospitable country of Botswana last year, and now the travel bug's got me. I’m hooked! I love my individual world, and want to get to know the rest of the world, too. Starting with the love of my continental life, Africa. I’m also a pen-wielding autodidact obsessed with words. I like to study them, string them together, use and abuse them. I’m also as addicted to chocolate as I am to reading. Let’s create our own Couchsurfing adventure together.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm itching to get to know the rest of the world as affordably as possible while making friends I can keep. Couchsurfing will also satiate my curiosity about how other people live.
