I'm Olivia, an adventures person from Sweden who likes to explore and meet new people :)

I'm corious, social and a warm human being that's always up for something new. Regardless if it's chatting over a cup of tea, watching a documentary or hiking in the mountains I'm down for it.

I have not yet stayed with anybody with couchsurfing, that's why there isn't any references yet... I hope that I soon will get the chance to change that :) I'm traveling in Slovenia right now and soon heading to Croatia where I hope to have some luck with couchsurfing!

Today I have been out for almost 1,5 month traveling and the most rewarding time has been when I (woofing) worked at farms for accomodations and food. I lived in two different Slovenian homes and learned a lot within those two weeks. I hope that with couchsurfing I can get something a bit similar. Getting the chance to chat to a local (even if you don't have a lot of time) is to me a way more interesting way of traveling!

I'm easy-going and not picky at all, just so you know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people, experience different cultures and ways of living. Seems to b why a lot of people are on couchsurfing?

Interests

Hiking, skiing (especially ski touring) and exploring nature. I also hope to learn more about climbing during my trip! Like to try new things and I would definitely lie if I didn't say I like to feel adrenalin in my body! But don't get frightened, I also love to lay on garden on a sunny day looking up at the sky.

Just finished reading “Girl on the Train”, old favorites are “Under the Sky We Make” and “Little Fires Everywhere”.

Listening to Bon Iver, First Aid Kit and of course Queen!

Really like the film "Ladybird" and a Swedish one named "Comey queen". Just recently discovered the director Wes Anderson and love his movies!!

I'm a person who knows my values but I find it very interesting to hear different point of views and traveling for me is a lot about that, learning and getting new perspectives!

This spring I finished a year education to become a Swedish mountain guide, before that I have worked on different mountain stations and ski resorts all over Sweden. Of you find that interesting than I can tell you anything you want to know about that. Everything from my when I was out for 3 weeks in a tent during the winter to when I accidentally lost my sleeping bag (it was quite cold)...
