About Me

I am happy and laid back, I love to travel and meet people, especially love dogs and cats, but I love all animals.
I am an elementary school English teacher and it makes me really happy, it's my passion, I recently discovered it by accident, I was going to be substituting for 2 weeks and stayed for 2 years. I'm currently working on getting certified to get better chances at teaching.
Traveling is another thing I love and wish I could do more often. Going places and meeting different people from all over the world expanded the tiny little world I lived in and made me a much better person, empathetic, brave, with critical thinking and capable of surviving and solving issues on my own. It made me dream and feel like I could do anything.
One day I'm going to save enough money to get myself on a journey around the world. I want to see it all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to travel more and meet many people who can share their beautiful corners of the world with me. Going places isn't enough. What makes the places so awesome is the people you meet there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! Any kind, I have no favorites, it depends on my mood but I listen to oldies a lot.
For films, I love an easy laugh but I specially love movies that haunt you for days after you watch them, that challenge your views and make you wanna do new things, come out of your shell.

The secret life of Walter Mitty is a great example for me. I love that movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

survive getting caught on a rip tide hah

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English, Spanish, how to whistle, how to make a friendship bracelet and cook a fatty delicious meal.
I can share my room with you, and my chocolate bars. You can even walk my dogs with me and get your clothes full of cat hair when you pet them.
You can learn from me how to overcome anxieties, and how to bolt to the nearest bathroom when you get a sudden urge to pee. You can also learn how to pick ripe mangoes and tasty avocadoes if you come to the market with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My Mexican culture and cuisine, my friendship and my time, I can help you clean up and hear you out, I'm all ears for you and I might even give you sound advise.
