I graduated from the Moscow Academy of Arts with a degree in «Monumental sculpture”, but I also paint. I taught sculpture at an art school, worked in restoration and also create mosaics and take commissions. In recent years, I've been working as a prop master in the film industry, helping create sets. I enjoy the construction and design process and love delving into its nuances. As an artist, I naturally crave new experiences and images, so I try to travel more often, meet new people, go to theaters, museums, and so on….These experiences then become the subject of my paintings and sculptures. I have a particular passion for mountains; they seem to me to be the embodiment of sculptural art in nature. In my creative work, I love working with stone, and I believe it can only be done by hand, so I work exclusively with a hammer and chisel, like the sculptures of 500-1,000 years ago. I enjoy athletic activities, but without overdoing it) Art is my priority, and I need it to work with stone: rock climbing, swimming, freestyle rollerblading, skating, cross-country and alpine skiing, kayaking, riding, yoga, and mountain hiking. I dream of creating a museum so I never have to part with my works!)) My apartment is more like a warehouse for my paintings.. I can't imagine how it's possible to work on a computer... to be honest, I don't even know how to turn it on..

I think this is a good way to broaden your horizons and travel without borders
Music, Movies, and Books
I love German literature and philosophy. I like Hermann Hesse, Goethe, Schiller... The book I reread every year is "The Tale of the Queen of the Morning" by Gerrard de Nerval.. Film... I watch some, but since I work in film, it's not that interesting to me anymore. I know too much about how it's made😅 I love Tarkovsky and The Lord of the Rings and sometimes I watch and read something dumb toooo to relax my brain
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Working with marble—what could be better?..(:-)) (:-)) My other oddball skills include using a welder, an angle grinder, a power saw, and a screwdriver. This summer, I had to learn how to operate a construction crane for set design work. We were building a medieval city for a film. It was fun..😎
