Hello everybody!

Love to see your on my page, my name is Anna Lebedeva. I used to live in Moscow, Russia, but won a scholarship for 1 academic year and moved to the US! This year I study at Ohio Northern University in a pretty little town called Ada. (Would be happy to see you here, by the way!)

I love meeting new people. As a political scientist, I realize the importance of non-governmental communications, the work of civil society sometimes builds much stronger ties between states that soft or hard power will ever do. I am looking forward to know the US better no matter would it be a small town like Ada or a big city like New York and Chicago. I just want to know what it is to be American, what people think about the key issues of life, how much their vision of life, beauty, morality, culture etc. differs from the Russian one.

I’m interested in people from ALL OVER THE WORLD and would be happy to share my knowledge and personal experience of travelling or living in my home country!

P.S. I don’t have too many references but I was hosted here in the US (not via couchserfing) and hosted some people in Russia!

Usually in different companies I find friends and keep in touch with them for a long time, I always try to learn something good from every person and any situation. My friends and relatives usually say that I have a good sense of humor, so, may be that is the reason why I get on with people well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My 2018 summer tour with a friend in Europe confirms the fact that travelling around the world is the best thing we have as humans. We travelled on the money we earned, communicated with locals who do not speak English at all, stayed in capitals and small towns and still had a great time there.

I love travelling and I think couchsurfing gives millions of people this amazing opportunity. I’m blessed to be here and hope to see as much as possible before leaving, because America is beautiful and its nature is amazing!

I like any type of music, I love rap, pop-music, country and classic music as well. Music inspires me a lot.

My favourite movies are "The Chronicles of Narnia", "Interstellar", "Harry Potter", "It takes two".
I adore watching serials like "Sherlock Holmes", "Big Bang Theory", "Supernatural", etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will share with you all my experience and knowledge about Russia, our history, culture and way of life and thinking. I may cuisine traditional Russian food and will show you the best arts made in Russia. I am sure the time spending in the USA with you will be great! That is why, I am looking forward to meet you!
