My name is Arsel, but a lot of people call me Kalu. Its upto you whatever you wanna call me:) I moved to the US by myself when I was 14 to study music, and that's what I've been doing ever since. I am currently a student at Berklee College of Music, studying Electronic Production & Sound Design. I don't like winters very much, so I take the Spring semester off to travel. Been living in a nice community out here in this beautiful island called Koh Phangan in Thailand for the past 2 months. Also spent a little bit of time in Bali very recently and had an amazing time there . Im coming to Hawaii because it seems to me like its the safest/most fun place in the US away from all this coronavirus thing that's going on right now.

I like surfing, and birds tell me Hawaii is the place for it. So if you wanna surf when Im there lets go together, and maybe we can learn a thing or two from each other. Im in the search of the best beach for my level, which is not too high, but I also don't surf like a toaster.

Also I love dancing.. especially ecstatic dance. If im going to a night club, I prefer it when its good techno or psy-trance. When dancing I love to close my eyes, forget my surroundings, and just leave my body to the music. Gives me such a good natural high.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I want to meet locals and see the local life thru their eyes. At the moment my main thing is to go surfing, so if you know good and not too crowded surf spots we should go there! I think getting to know someone this way would be unique, so why not give it a shot.
