I´m a med student currently living and studying in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. I grew up in a small village in the Beroun district in Central Bohemia. I consider myself an introvert, although I love interacting with people. I´m a member of a variety of volunteer organizations, such as Street Medics and Universities for Climate. I adore traveling and getting out of my comfort zone, as well as studying new languages and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know the local culture from the inside. Based on my best travel experiences, I think there is no better way to do so than staying at someone´s home. And it´s also the exact kind of adventure I´m seeking! When having my own place, I´ll surely become a host as well.

Music
I love listening to the music of all kinds, depending on my mood. My top list would definitely include Twenty One Pilots, Yungblud, and a Czech punk band Rybičky 48.

Movies
My favorite ones are those directed by Quentin Tarantino and Marvel movies.

Books
My favourite book ever is To Kill A Mockingbird, closely followed by Catch-22. I also enjoy Nordic literature, from authors as Lars Kepler, Stieg Larsson, or Frederik Backman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In high school, I´ve spent three months on an exchange program in Portugal. It was the biggest jump out of my comfort zone I´ve ever experienced, and also the one that gave me the most. I would love to attend a similar program during my university studies.

What can I teach you? Depends on what do you want to learn. I´m really into my studies, so I can share some interesting first aid or anatomy facts if you´re willing to listen :D. I consider myself quite a positive person, so I can definitely provide you with some good vibes and energy. If you´re keen on a sustainable lifestyle, we can exchange some tips and tricks.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As well as I like discovering new cultures, I like sharing mine. As stated before, I´m from Czechia. Not only we are still being confused for Czechoslovakia, but for some people, the Czech Republic is just "a part of the Eastern Bloc" (c´mon, it´s been 30 years). I can teach you some Czech phrases, explain our traditions or historical context.
