Overview
About Me
Namaste,
I’m Deepak, from a small village in Haryana, India.
I didn’t grow up with luxury, but I grew up with curiosity — curiosity to see the world beyond borders, beyond comfort, beyond expectations.
At the age of 22, I chose a different path.
I left my job, money, and future plans behind to follow a dream — to explore the world in the most real and raw way possible.
Now, it has been more than 5 years on the road.
This journey is not about ticking countries off a list…
It’s about experiencing extremes, understanding people, and living stories that cannot be found in books or screens.
✨ MY TRAVEL PHILOSOPHY
I don’t travel for comfort or checklists.
I travel to understand the unknown.
I follow curiosity over plans,
trust over fear,
and experiences over security.
For me, the world is not a place to visit —
it’s something to live, feel, and learn from.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing, for me, is not just about finding a place to stay.
It’s about meeting people beyond borders, understanding cultures deeply, and creating meaningful human connections.
Every person I meet adds something valuable to my journey —
and I always leave with gratitude and memories.
Interests
I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and sharing moments that feel real. I enjoy exploring different cultures, living simply, and spending time close to nature — whether in the mountains or by the beach. Long bike rides, hitchhiking, and unplanned journeys excite me. Sometimes I walk alone, sometimes with people from around the world, but for me it’s always about freedom, connection, and the joy of exploration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
• Traveled continuously for 5+ years with minimal money
• Hitchhiked thousands of kilometers across regions
• Camped in extreme conditions (mountains, jungles, remote areas)
• Experienced survival situations and learned from them
• Met hundreds of strangers who became part of my story
And honestly…
I still feel like my journey has just begun.
