Hi! I’m Matei!
I'm a student in the medical school of Bucharest, aspiring doctor, and I currently live in Romania. Ever since I watched the movie "Into the wild", some weird wheels have begun clicking within my brain. Consequently, I decided that one of my purposes is to know the world by long or short term hikes.
On a more personal level, a great desire of mine is represented by the strong willingness not only to interact with people, but to help them also. I'm curios, and I bear a young and vivacious soul. Besides, I am always open to new cultures and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking forward to meeting like-minded people, to share my ideas and hear others'out. I am very clean and neat, all in all a fortunate guest:))

Interests

In my idle time, I find great pleasure in arts, long walks and getting acquainted with strangers. I feel entitled to say I'm a bookworm, but movies and series always make me daydream)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to literarily anything that could set me on a good vibe. I love classical music, pop (Frank Sinatra) etc

Regarding books, the classic authors allure me, Thomas Mann, Virginia Woolf, but I love action, fantasy (Tolkien, for example)
Most of all, I am a history nerd. For the last few months, the only books I read were about some corner of the world’s history. Ask me! I’ll speak gladly.

Regarding movies, I don't know where to start:))
Lord of the rings(absolutely adore the soundtrack)
Pirates of the Caribbean (same reason)
The curios case of Benjamin Button (love the ending scene where Benjamin took a trip in Asia with nothing but a motorcycle)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran away from home without telling anyone, this is how I had the best time in Budapest:)
Also, the hospital emergency care procedures may count as amazing, you are the judge to decide after I tell the story

I am good at maths, physics., I can share the stories I know. We will have a good time, hopefully.
