Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
In the beginning i didn’t know what to say in this area, but after my first couch surfing experience, that was so nice. I understand what is this about, and I want to be part of the community.
I’m in Couch Surfing not only to get a place to stay, but to get friends from all around the world and listen to their history, I want to share good time with new friends and get to know the country or the city where I’m, from another perspective.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I like Latin vibes music: Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, but I also enjoy all kind of music.
I’m a huge fan of Lord of the Ring, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and Forrest Gump, I love movies 🍿 omg I almost forget my favorite: La vita e belle.
I love Greek Mitology.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I started from zero in a new country, with a broken heart and empty pockets, I moved from the Netherlands to the Dominican Republic, where I’m really happy now.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can teach some Bachata or Merengue basic moves, those are Dominican traditional dance, btw the bachata is becoming really popular world wide.
I can teach you how to play chess or the baseball rules, our national sport.
I can teach how to travel cheap and which places to visit in Central or South America, and the differences between the cultures.
If you are learning Spanish we can practice together (is my mother language), nobody wants to learn Dutch but if is that your case I can help you as well.
I’m excited about meeting new people from so many countries and enjoy that diversity, is always more fun to be hosted by a local so you see the city from another perspective.
As a host: I can offer you a private room in Santiago, a key code so you can explore the city and get back to my place at anytime, I can teach about the national culture, and even if I’m a bad cooker I can make some traditional food for you, if you stay in the weekend I can show more around.
As a guest: I will respect you and your property and we can have good conversations about random stuff. If you cook, I will be your personal assistant, I will keep the place clean.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I have 2 houses in the Dominican Republic, one in Mao (small city) and the other in Santiago (the second most important city of the country).
You can have breakfast and dinner at my place for free, I get lunch at my Business where I normally spend the day, also a private room, with private bathroom. You don’t have to care about towel, shampoo, shower gel and all that kinds of things are already in the room so you are free to used.
In our culture guest is king, sometimes we give our bedroom to important guests, thanks god the others room are super nice as the mine, so I don’t have to give my room to nobody. 😅
You have to try mangu, la bandera, dulce de leche and other traditional food that we have.
