I am an nineteen-year-old young Portuguese man who has just finished compulsory education and is not sure what he wants to do or study in the future. That's why I'm taking advantage of my gap year to fulfill my dream of doing a roots backpacker in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only does it make the trip cheaper, which allows me to travel longer, but it also gives me the opportunity to meet local people and make friends, which will allow me to live the trip to the fullest and feel that I am really there, in that city, because the best trip is not to know places, but also to meet people.
