Hi, this is Josie. A Chinese girl who grew up in Portugal.
I really enjoyed travel, get to know the culture and meet up with new friends, I love reading, running, and baking cakes. I just finished my MA in teaching Mandarin as a second language, and now I am the first year PhD student of the same major in National Taiwan Normal University.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Lisbon, a group of teenager approached me at night and tried to force me to hand over my wallet. However, because I was very attached to that wallet, I summoned up a great deal of courage and resisted until I was able to escape their grasp.

I feel that the entire human race belongs to a whole, so I always hold expectations for the goodness in people, just like the poem says, "No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends' or of thine own were."
