Hello, I'm generally someone who enjoys being alone, but I do love meeting foreign friends and gaining new experiences. I work as a clinical psychologist, and currently, I am a freelancer, which gives me more time than before. I enjoy singing🎶 reading books, and going for walks with dogs.
Fluent in Korean
Learning English
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
When I went on a trip to Europe 8 years ago, I traveled with the help of many locals. Thanks to them, I still cherish those memories. Among the things that money can't buy, one of them is precious relationships. Unfortunately, my English proficiency is not very good, so I might not be able to engage in deep conversations. But I can still engage in simple communication and create good memories.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie is 'Before Sunrise.' I love Ethan Hawke. And i really like to sing a song and play the piano:) .
One Amazing Thing I've Done
When I traveled to Europe, I received help from numerous people. Their kindness felt like a reflection of Christ's love. I tend to be reserved and fearful, with many anxieties about interacting with people. However, through their acts of service, my heart warmed, and I could cherish beautiful memories of that country when I returned to Korea. I still miss them sometimes and wish to inquire about their well-being. Though I may fall short, I often contemplate how wonderful it would be to bring positive memories to someone else, just as they did for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
That which I can teach is the joy of cooking Korean cuisine together and the art of teaching the Korean language
What I Can Share With Hosts
If you wish, I would be happy to worship together at church. While my English may not be perfect, I wish to share the experience of praising and reading the Word of God together, feeling His presence among us.
