About Me

Greetings, fellow traveller! Bless you for stopping by. Do not linger on the doorstep, but come in, here is warmth and a hearty mug of brew. The owner of this humble abode (who has the pleasure of addressing you) is an idealist and dreamer, merry with his friends though much given to lonely contemplation. He lives in hope of meeting like minds, familiar spirits and fraternal companions on this earthly pilgrimage. And now he invites you to share what you know, to enrich the hour with tales and discourse. The hour is short; the journey is long--and many feet find passage to this house. Before the morning sun should peep anew, let's talk and toast and wear the moment through.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting souls, hear stories from visiting travellers and offer the gift of hospitality to those who want it.

Interests

I am strongly drawn to literature, history, philosophy, politics etc and welcome any discussion of these :) I practice Ukulele and the French language in leisure hours, and maintain my fitness in order to attend running or endurance events throughout the year.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A warm and safe place to stay, home cooked meals, and friendly company. I’m also able to share recommendations about places to visit in my city and state.

IMPORTANT: I do need to meet with my guests in person before hosting them, to make sure we are suitable & align expectations etc. I think it’s better to know each other a little before finalising any accommodation arrangement. We can catch up for a coffee or walk in the park for this, a short/casual meeting is great.
