Hi there, we are Remko & Louise. A couple from Belgian traveling Southeast Asia since January. We started our trip in Sri Lanka and have covered 8 countries since. A little bit about ourselves:

Louise: At this point in life, im studying Graphic Design, which means im very creative. I draw, and play music. I also write songs and poems. Before I started this study, I've worked for over 6 years, until I figured out what I really wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I'm a motivated person, which I find to be a skill :)
I'm very good with people, a social personality and I care a lot. Im very invested in what and who I get to deal with on a daily basis.

What motivates me in life is to find pleasure is in the smallest things. To be at peace with who I am, what I do and what I want to achieve in life. Happiness, as said above, I find in the small things. Starting the day with a good cup of coffee, saying 'hi' to a stranger, reading a book, listening to music, etc... but also, and probably most importantly, is finding happiness with the people around you. Family, friends, any kind of relationship. Where you can find joy in other's their pleasure. Actually, living -as corny as that might sound- is my biggest motivation to make something beautiful out of every day, for the small time we have on this planet...

Remko: I'm a Manual Physical Therapist who's interests lie within a very broad spectrum. In my job I have to examine patients, find out where their symptoms originate from and treat accordingly. I run my own practice, which means I am responsible for administrative and hygienic duties. A part of my job takes place in a retirement home, where I am the resident PT. I absolutely love to work with this age group as they inspire me to get the absolute most out of life before it is too late. Next to elderly, I always worked and volunteered with children in child daycare or youth organizations.

Besides my active job, I love to play soccer or boulder my way up a wall. And I am always in to try a new sport. Next to sports, I have another passion: music. I was a DJ for over 6 years and I played @ more than a 100 parties with crowds going from 20 to 2.000 people.
