Overview
About Me
Hi;) I’m chongyang from China.
My life has been a constant search for meaning against my biggest fear-nihility. Studying physics and astronomy in college and graduate school was useful, and what’s more amazing is to see, to try, to feel and to share on journey, with friends.
After I graduated from university of Tokyo I have been working in Shanghai for a year. But gradually my enthusiasm was consumed. Now I just quit my job and intend to move to the UK soon. Finding a nice town while traveling, then focusing on writing is my plan for the next two years. Looking forward to sharing my stories, and to hearing more stories from you.
I’ll stay in Shanghai for 1 more month. My apartment in Shanghai is small and far from the city center. I’m not proud of it but if anyone gets into trouble and has nowhere to go there’s one empty bed.
P.s. I have been to 30/34 provinces of China, more than half counties of Japan, and hitchhiked for more than 2000km (China+Japan. About these two countries I guess I have a few things to share

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Asked strangers I met on a trip in Shikoku, Japan, ‘if I can go to your house and cook dinner for you’. And we had the best dinner party together with some traditional Japanese booze. We were speaking Japanese all the time but turned out they’re a Chinese family living there in a foreign small town.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything if I can, cooking together(or just let me make some Chinese dishes, sharing stories, being someone to play cards/badminton/… with, and if you have a guitar/ukulele I’d love to sing for you
