About Me

Hello, I am Andrea, a student living in Germany.🇩🇪
I come from a small town in Germany, but I'm always drawn to new places, new people, new cultures and new experiences.🗺️🧳That's why I love traveling so much
because it gives me the opportunity to experience all these things and create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

I am an open minded person and I really like to challenge myself, to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. One of the best things about traveling for me is getting to know new people and listening to their stories or rather, learning about their stories and seeing life from a different perspective, than I am used to.

I love people who take life easy and you can laugh, dance, sing and be goofy around.🌝

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I follow a travel blogger and she shared her great experiences with Couch Surfing and how she made incredible memory’s with the people who hosted her. I was so fascinated because she made friendships with people from different countries and cultures she maybe would never met like that in her home country. 🗺️
I was always a curious person and always wanted to meet people while travelling and make some memory’s with them, so Couch Surfing seems like it is the perfect opportunity for that! 🌍

Interests

I am an adventurous person who enjoys to spend time in nature, explore the beauty of new places and doing some activities like hiking or swimming. 🏞️

I love to try new food from other countries🍤 and meet new people and listen about their stories.

Also I am very interested history and art especially in street art🎨, that’s why I love to visit museums and my tradition is always visiting a museum, when I stay in a capital of a country or in a bigger city with a lot of history.

In my free time I go to the gym and lift weights and sometimes I do sport outside with a good friend.🤸‍♂️ I love photography and capturing the beauty of places and landscapes, but I myself am not that photogenic. 🙈📸

Music, Movies, and Books

I almost enjoy every music genre, it depends on my mood and the situation I am in. 🎶

As a Kid my favourite movies were the Star Wars movies and the movies of Hunger games. In general I like the genres action, romance, comedy. 🎬

I like to read books which help me to develop my personality, and one book what really changed me was the power of now, what really showed me to stay more in the present and being more aware of the beauty of my environment. Now I am also reading the power principe what helps me to understand more the power of my own mind. In the future I would like to read more novels with beautiful stories. 📚

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I spent some time in China 🇨🇳 and simply saw how diverse this country is and what it has to offer. From the stunning cities to a diverse, beautiful unique nature, I saw one of my most beautiful places in China.🏞️
Above all, I will never forget the sight of a beautiful waterfall in the rainforest, beautiful little islands that I visited and a giant statue of Buddha.

When I traveled alone for the first time, to London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, I saw that I could experience so many wonderful things on my own. And it's always worth it to discover a new place, whether you're alone or not because you will always get to know new people along the way.

When I was in France 🇫🇷 I and met a 60-year-old woman and she showed me the city, we had tea together and she told me about herself and her family. ☕️

When I was in Berlin for the first time with my boyfriend, after we had only known each other for a month and he showed me the city because he had lived there for a while. I experienced so many cool things there like a party thrown by his friend in a hair salon with his own DJ and realized what a special place Berlin is with its own unique vibe. 🎶

There are many other beautiful memories that I have made, but even the smallest things in life can make a big difference and sometimes make you happier than the big things.🌷

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe we can all learn something from everyone. Each of us lives our own life, has our own experiences, has learned our own lessons, which we can share with others.
And that's why it's so important to talk to people who may have a completely different life to you, to simply see that life has different perspectives and not everything always has to be as we know it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring you a special gift from my country 🎁 for the memory and help you with cooking or cleaning or something else.
Plus I will bring a good mood and some humour and curiosity to your home, so we will have a great time.
