Hello! I'm Mar (29), and I'm from Barcelona, but lived for some years in Canary Islands. Also lived for a while in Flensburg (Germany) and Istanbul. For the past couple of years, I've been traveling around the world but the last few months, I've been sailing in the Caribbean (hitchhiking) with my friend Aitor and we have arrived in New York and then in Canada. My plan now is to travel to Brazil for a few months (also for study reasons) and then continue traveling through South America. From here on my plan becomes open and unexpected again :)
I love spending time in nature, trekking, camping, getting to know new places and food and spending time with my friends.
I'm interested on history of science and science and society studies related with gender.
When I'm in Barcelona or living elsewhere for a while I'm happy to have guests and share my favorite places.

I have used Couchsurfing many times, but I have not been able to recover my account (since I don't use the old email anymore). But I have had very good experiences both alone and with friends in Europe (Ireland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Denmark and Germany), Guatemala and Mexico.
