Hello everyone!

I’m a full-time student with an clean, honest, and outgoing personality. I’m very straightforward in a warm way, and I truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. I study music, play the piano, and love singing. Traveling and cooking are two of my biggest passions—and so far, I’ve been lucky enough to visit more than 40 countries.

I come from Shandong Province in China, the hometown of Confucius. I completed my undergraduate studies there, and later studied for Master degree in Shanghai, a city I know very well. My parents currently work in Suzhou, so I’m also familiar with life and traditions in Jiangnan. Because of this background, I enjoy sharing both authentic northern Chinese culture and the customs of southern China.

Cooking is something I genuinely love. While my academic knowledge of culture may have its limits, I’m quite confident in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking Chinese cuisine from different regions, as well as Thai, Vietnamese, and Spanish dishes. For me, food is one of the best ways to exchange culture.

I decided to use Couchsurfing because friends told me it’s a wonderful way to meet people, exchange stories, and build real connections across cultures. I value sincerity very much, and I believe meaningful friendships often start from genuine conversations.

I currently live and study for Music in Ireland, where I’ve been for nearly four years. I’m fortunate to hold a two-year Schengen visa, which allows me to travel more freely. Living in Ireland has also given me a deep appreciation for Irish culture. Besides piano, I also play the Irish harp and the bodhrán, and recently I’ve been exploring jazz ensemble music.

I naturally value interaction, communication, and companionship. I don’t see myself as a selfish person—in fact, I believe I’m quite caring and attentive to others. Whether on the road or in life, I hope to meet interesting and kind people, share stories, and exchange positive energy.
