About Me

Heyy theree I’m an architect,
I design buildings for a living, but in reality I design ideas, atmospheres and experiences. I care about how light enters a room, how materials age, how a structure stands against gravity and time. Architecture made me see the world differently — every city is an open-air exhibition for me.
But before architecture shaped my vision, nature shaped my character.
I grew up in the Black Sea region of Türkiye — surrounded by steep mountains, endless green valleys, heavy rain and dramatic fog rolling over hills. That landscape stays with you. It teaches you resilience. It teaches you respect. And it quietly pushes you upwards.
Over time, hiking turned into mountaineering. What started as weekend walks became serious elevation gains, long-distance ridge walks and alpine ascents. I don’t climb for adrenaline — I climb for perspective.
Here are some of my mountain journeys so far:
2018
– Kaçkar Mountains (🇹🇷) – 42 km trekking, 3,200m elevation gain, 3 days
2019
– Mount Erciyes Summit (🇹🇷) – 3,917m – winter ascent
– Aladağlar multi-day route (🇹🇷) – 58 km, technical sections, 4 days
2020
– Mount Ararat (🇹🇷) – 5,137m summit – 4 days expedition
2021
– Kaçkar traverse route (🇹🇷) – 75 km, 4,500m total elevation, 5 days
2022
– Alpine trekking in Austria (🇦🇹) – 90 km, 6 days hut-to-hut
2023
– Mixed winter climbs & solo camping experiences
(And many smaller, spontaneous “let’s just see where this ridge goes” adventures.)
Mountains taught me endurance, patience and humility. Carrying everything on your back, fighting wind, waking up above the clouds — it simplifies life in the best possible way.
But I’m not only about high altitudes. I’m equally fascinated by cities. I love wandering through unfamiliar neighborhoods, sketching random façades, discovering hidden cafés, having long conversations that start casually and end philosophically at 1am.
Nature resets me. Cities inspire me. I need both.

If you enjoy deep conversations, fresh air, spontaneous plans and people who are curious about the world — I think we’ll get along well.
See you somewhere between a skyline and a summit,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new on Couchsurfing and genuinely excited about this community. The idea of meeting people not as tourists but as real humans sharing stories feels powerful. I’m here to experience places through locals — not just landmarks, but real life.
As a guest, I’m respectful, clean and independent. I don’t need luxury — a simple bed, a warm shower and good energy is more than enough. What I value most is connection: cooking together, sharing perspectives, maybe going for a hike, maybe exploring your favorite corner of the city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve ever done was carrying everything I needed on my back and spending days in the mountains, disconnected from the world. No signal, no comfort — just nature, silence and perspective. It changed the way I see both life and success
