About Me

*** I am more of a last minute host as I rent a room some of the time and often do not know where I will be in a months time. I will offer private room when I know they are empty or mattress in my room ***

TRAVELING atm.

Only ask to stay if you have at least a reference and have some of that good ole couchsurfing spirit about you. Cheers!

MISSION

To make the most of each present moment. Be creative!

ABOUT ME

Curious, resourceful, upbeat and at times solitary.

Empathy, gratitude, live today for who knows what the future holds. I try to plant the seed to grow the tree under whose shade I may never sit - or maybe that’s just being a long term tenant

Culture culture I see as much as I can as I get, why I stay in London.

PHILOSOPHY

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step into the music he hears, however measured or far away." Henry David Thoreau.
I remember reading this when i was 14, then 20 years on i started to really hear different drummers and started on a samba journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some days i am the sailor, but these days, for the time being, i am mostly the port.

Couchsurfing has revolutionised how I travel as it has so many elements to it. Travelling solo is so much more fun when you know there’s a CS community you can opt into if the solitary road gets too much.

The comfort of strangers

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I host nowadays mainly on the Emergency couch group as I don't always have a spare bed.
I occasionally organise events in London. Free culture uberall!

Couchsurfing has revolutionised the way I travel. I travel when I can and am grateful for the CS community to host me, or meet up with me.

I’ve made many friends on my CS journey who I still see and have many memories that add to the tapestry of my life.

Having a baby girl Selva
Playing samba at the 2006 world cup final in berlin with 100 drummers from 15 countries.

Seeing the Berlin wall fall when I was living in Berlin as a student.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my music, travel tales, life's antidotes, the words that get lost in translation.

I can take you for a pomegranate juice in Brixton.

I love to cook for friends. I make kombucha and kimchi and happy to share my methods.

We can sit in the garden for a mate (an argentinian tea i love to drink) and then who knows where the conversation will go.
I can tell you how to enjoy london on the cheap - I am a culture vulture without a stash of cash- if you’re lucky we can see some theatre or gigs as I get cheap tickets.
