Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We have used CS with success in our own travels previously and would currently like to give back to the community in the only way we can right now,and that is by hosting. Ian: I've become a more avid reader.Some of my Favorites: Into the Wild: by Jon Krakauer, Fight Club: By Chuck Palhuniak, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: By HST. Siobhan: the razor's edge, nuns and soldiers, dharma bums, catcher in the rye, into the wild, the freedom manifesto, inheritors, no exit, the end of the affair, the curious incident of the dog in the night, the sacred and profane love machine, the giving tree, the hour of the star.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Ian: Hm..the story would be way too long, but I got on TV, flew to catalina, palm springs, and oceanside, went to a cliffside party w/2 sweedish flight instructors and busted up 2 benz's all in the same week.**PS never take an un-lisenced cab in England... you may be riding with a convict** Siobhan: I hiked the Grand Canyon with my right thigh covered in bed bug bites during a thunder storm. The clouds lie in the Canyon, so when lightening strikes, it strikes at your feet...well at least it struck at my feet. I have never been closer to my death, yet never felt so alive....Ask me sometime what I think of parking lots and smokers in San Francisco.
My Interests
Ian: camping, kayaking, generally having a good time outdoors. Siobhan: reading, gardening, teaching myself how to sew, playing with my big girl camera, cuddling with my dogs.
