About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Our mission at the moment is to take the day as it comes and enjoy!
ABOUT ME
We are a family of two adults, two children (11 and 14), one cat, one dog and two gerbils. We are more or less vegetarians. Our jobs are a bit flexible so sometimes it's no problem for us to show you the surroundings and help you out if needed. But sometimes we can't... But even if we can't help you out during daytime, we want to meet you:-).
PHILOSOPHY
When it comes to couchsurfing, we see it as an opportunity for exchange of ideas, for learning about other countries and cultures, for meeting new friends, for our children to meet people from other countries. This means that we do not see couchsurfing as only a way to get a free bed during a travel...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This far we have hosted couch surfers from Chile, France, Czech republic, Belgium, Germany/Mongolia, Poland (two times), Syria and Japan. We haven't surfed any couches through couch surfing yet.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I guess we have always been couch surfers, we just haven't formalized it until now...
This far we have only been hosting and it has been a pleasure every time. We have also participated in the CS family meeting in Poland in august 2009 - it was great!
Interests
We like outdoor activities of all kinds; kayaking, hiking, geocaching, skating, horse riding, bird watching, and so on. Of course we also like hanging around with old and new friends. We are very fond of good food and comic strips. Both of the children are larping.
