i wander. where will i end up? i enjoy a wide range of people from every side of the social spectrum.
i grew up in the southeast u.s., but i lived in italy for four years working and i've been in paris since 2007. i attended virginia tech, and i've lived in d.c. for a bit as well. I love the appalachia. i miss clean air.

i hitch hiked across scotland a couple years back and received several couch awards--a glorious, homegiving people, the scots. and one of them slipped 30 pounds in my jacket pocket without me knowing, that sneaky miss.
