We are a easy-going, open-minded and happy family, looking for people to meet and friendships to build.

We used to host a lot between 2007 and 2015, when the website was free. We really loved the CS philosophy of sharing with nothing in return.

In 2017, our son Orion was born ❤️

In 2021, we decided to move from the city we loved and lived in (Strasbourg) to travel through France, discover new ways of life, finding a place where our son would be unschooled with friends around him, and where we don't have to work all the time!

Since summer 2022, we live in Chalais, small town between Bordeaux and Angouleme. Flore works in IT mostly from home, Orion plays all the time and Babou takes care of the house, the family, and enjoys her life!

We love hosting people. We're certainly no party-entertainer though, so if you decide to come to our place, you'll mainly find a good meal, a nice bedroom and there's a good chance that the evening will be spent talking, playing games or watching a movie. Orion will surely ask you to play with him most of the time, but you won't have to 😉

Flore

I love friends. Long discussions with people I appreciate. I also enjoy playing games, reading, drawing, writing... I'm fond of Japan and can be qualified easily as a crazy manga-lover... I also love sciences, logics, IQ tests and the like.

Babou

I love friends, manga, Japan, board games, cheese, being in my hammock, traveling (even in country where you cannot find good cheese), meeting nice people, talking about feminism, sustainability or anti-capitalism.

Orion

I love video games, the Smurfs, manga, Maths, reading, playing with my friends, creating new games, playing the guitar, spending time with my mums, not going to school.

Música, películas y libros

Flore

I read an awful lot of manga, but I enjoy real books too (and French comics, let's be open-minded)... I love mostly Alexandre Dumas and his historical settings, Oscar Wilde and his witty plays and a number of unknown authors too.
Music-wise, I listen to everything people give to me, but never buy anything, except maybe for Queen and Mika. What's for sure is that I absolutely LOVE karaoke. I can even karaoke on songs I don't know.
As for movies, I watch pretty-much everything, but I like romantic comedies best...

Babou

I read mostly manga (a lot of them). I also love reading books about positive education, self education for kids (such as writings from Peter Gray), feminism. My favorite novel is Les Misérables, even if I'm even founder of the stage play! I could watch Lord of the rings movies all the time.

Until I met Jane, I was pretty sure I would amaze anyone with what I can do with my fingers, now they just look ordinary to me...
Except for that, the amazing things I've done are mostly bathing in a open onsen in the night while it was snowing or see strange Japanese festivals. Or going up Daimonji-yama at night to look over Kyôto. Most of those are in Japan...
I've also visited bannished places of Strasbourg's cathedral (and stole a part of it) which was very cool.

Babou

I let go my job, my apartment, my furnitures and my friends and went on an 1,5 year adventure with my wife and my son.
