HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Host and be hosted. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE During the summer of '06 and again in '07, my buddy Ryan Flanagan and I went on a cross-country road trip where we met so many nice, interesting people with either warm couches or a warm carpet.
