Last night my husband, 2 young adult children and I stayed up into the night talking about how do we not only have faith, but how do we live out that faith in the world. I was visiting with an 81 year old man who still has a desire to learn more about himself. He has realized that there are things about himself he would like to change. He asked me how does he make those changes. I have been spending time trying to figure out an answer. I am much better at questions than I am at answers. I think part of my answer will be that the first step is to recognize the parts of us that we would like to change and learn ways to transform those parts to something that brings life to ourselves and others.
