About Me
PHILOSOPHY
Can I make a metaphor? My favorite type of weather is partly cloudy and cool with gusts of wind but no precipitation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spent last fall living in Barcelona and traveling around Europe. I stayed with a very generous, kind CSer and met a few others! Now I'd like to welcome anyone who wants to visit my little town!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've heard through the grapevine that CouchSurfing is a great way to connect with people and places. I hope I can write my own testimonial about the greatness of it very soon.
Interests
I like fun games, and I keep trying to learn how to knit. I am interested in exploring places by walking, riding bikes, or taking public transportation, and I want to know about my trash (and the trash of others) and what happens to it. I like patterns and codes. Eating delicious foods (especially sweets) in restaurants or helping to make them at home interests me a whole lot!

Music, Movies, and Books
Action movies, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Belle and Sebastian, Ghost World (both), Gilmore Girls, girl groups of the 60s, Stereolab. I claim to really like books. The only thing that's popping into my head at the moment is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 9 my stepmother took me to a tiny circus without animals, and I resolved to have a horrible time. But I couldn't help being impressed by a normal-sized woman who scrunched up inside a one-foot cube. Then she just hopped out as if nothing had happened! (Don't worry, I'll come with something more amazing soon.)
