ABOUT ME

I am a poet inspired by the flow of the seasons, particularly those of the heart. I am a counseling therapist, working with a variety of populations, specializing in youth development of self-actualization and excellence.

PHILOSOPHY

Riding. Riding the flow. Paddling upstream just doesn't work very well. Be aware with eyes and heart open and the path lays itself underfoot. Each moment is unique and a genuine experience that deserves appreciation and gratitude.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My life is an occupation of exploration. Externally as well as internally. I find my self in the unexpected quite often and that brings me to the opportunity of surfing the couches of the homes of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been stranded in Laos with only $15, because they have no ATMs and wire transfers are scarce, and I was robbed by an opium dealing village, so I walked from North to Longprobang for 20 days each night asking the village chief if i could stay in his dirt floor bamboo hut for an evening, work in the rice fields the next day, then continue on my way.
