ABOUT ME

After getting my swiss "brevet" in finance and accounting (2007) I changed my job and I worked for four years for a japanese manufactured oral care products company. As far as I remember I always liked to play with figures. Accounting is logic (yes it's, debit / credit nothing much) and organized (well it should be that way). After implementing a consoldiation software I decided to quit my job (April 2012) and leave my country to discover our beautiful world.

Firstly, I went to Buenos Aires (Argentina) for 2 1/2 months to learn spanish and since September 2012 I'm travelling to South Amercia, South East Asia and Japan until the end of April 2013. After a few months of travelling I can say that was the best decision I took in my life. Of course I visited a lot of amazing places and met terrific persons but firstly it's a journey with myself. It's helping me to identify exactly what I want, where I would live and the type of people I like to be with.

I define myself as an organise person, I freak when it's messy and I'm calm by nature. I'm not shy but I prefer the one-to-one or small group meetings, if there is too many people then I could be distant. Honesty is important for me even if it hurts I prefer to know the truth. I can be sarcastic sometimes but I have a good sense of humour so don't hesitate to make fun of me. I'm an impulsive person, so I have some regrets for things I have done, on the other hand, I don't have regrets for things I haven't done. I like the brands but I won't pay to much money for them so I'm always looking for the best deal. I like fashion but I don't consider myself as a fashion victim and I dislike the "bling-bling".

I hope that you have enjoyed reading my profile and you will be interested to meet me. I'm looking forward to meet you and in the meanwhile I wish you all the best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to learn and teach as much as possible from and to the person I meet. Until the end of my trip around the world (April 2013) I'm only looking for hosting and meeting people.
But when I'll be back home I'll host people too. I'm actually looking forward to it, I already have thought about things to do or to help for my future couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It helped me to know a lot of people from different origins and cultures. It frankly enriched my journey every times I have met couchsurfers. For exampIe I have improved my spanish a lot, I have tested typical local food, I have learned to dance salsa, I have been in some great bars with nice people. Well, it's always much better to know someone wherever you are and this had been possible with couchsurfing. I'm happy that some people I met on couchsurfing are now my friends. So my experiences in couchsurfing are brilliants so far.

Interests

I play soccer since I'm a kid with a small break a few years ago. When I was younger I played in a good level of non-professional league as defensive midfielder.
Beach volley-ball is one of my favorite sport nowadays. The bad thing leaving in Switzerland is you can play it only during summer which means moreless 3 months per year.
In winter I like to play squash, badminton, to do snowboarding and go to the gym.
I basically like all kind of sports and I'm looking forward to try new ones.

Cooking is part of my new hobby, I started enjoying it a year ago and now I'm addicted. I'm not difficult with food and I like to try new recipes. What I love to do is after a day work, back to home, open a beer and start cooking.

Reading was one of my main activities during my trip around the world. I like biographies, detective novels, fictions and historical books. Nowadays, I almost only read books in english and spanish to improve my language skills.
