CURRENT MISSION Learn, explore, play with fire, smile, music, dance, homeschool, raise amazing citizens of this world. ABOUT ME My husband, Nate, and I live in the country outside of Eugene. We live in a Geodesic dome with almost 3 acres. We have 2 dogs and a bunch of chickens. We love music, dancing, friends, family, new experiences, art, travel, nursing, caring for the needy however we can, and dogs. We are accommodating and often make food for our guests and give rides to local sights of interest when possible. PHILOSOPHY A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have mostly been a couch host, but have unofficially surfed many many couches. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have had quite a bit of my own couch surfing, the longest stint being with my bro Drew . We have had many friends and family on our couches!! So far I have enjoyed everyone I have hosted.
Music, Movies, and Books
Foreign and independent films are best, and funny movies!!! Books are great, one of our favorite authors is Thich Nhat Hanh. Music is beautiful and is our common language. We love so much music, but especially the unique...Nate plays in The T club and Outpost.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you stay at my place then you could surely get a free poi lesson out of me :) Maybe some acroyoga as well if you are feeling frisky. I know alot about medicine and the human body being a nurse so you can always ask questions.

Music, fire dancing, dogs, good wines, vegetarian cooking, hiking, photography, camping, love, warm weather, swimming, scuba diving, music, art, creativity, the attainment of our true self (whoever that is), openness, open-minds, dance, festivals, tea, natural body care, organic foods, walking, camp fires, stars, the beach, traveling, sand beneath my toes, fire dancing on the beach, ocean, water, trees, rivers, family, our daughters, my nephews and nieces, nursing, homeschooling, helping others, living compassionately...does that cover it all...I don't know this world is amazing and there is so much to see and do!!!!!
