CURRENT MISSION To experience new people and cultures, and gain a broader knowledge of the world ABOUT ME I graduated Cal State Long Beach with a BFA in Illustration and hope to one day become a concept artist. Right now I am doing JET and living in Japan. I am enjoying every moment I have abroad and hope to improve my japanese while I am here. I did Semester at Sea in Fall of 2005. It changed my life. I was able to visit places like India, Myanmar, and Venezuela just to name a few. It opened my eyes to embrace a more global perspective. I love to eat exotic foods and have had everything from snake's blood to fried scorpion. One of my favorite things to do is get lost in a foreign country and find my way back! PHILOSOPHY If you sit around and wait for stuff to happen, you'll waste your life waiting and not living.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Its really hard to pick only one.. so I will just say taking a nighttime rickshaw ride through the market streets of Varanassi, India in the rain, and then getting dropped off at the shore of the Ganges river to take boat ride up the river, observing the funeral pyres on the banks and lighting candles for the dead to float down the river in little paper bowls.... wow, that was a mouthful!
