About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be reincarnated as the kids of the kids that kept me warm full and alive

ABOUT ME

Though the house may now be but the dust of fallen concrete and scraps in a junk yard, it's memory still burns strong in us all. The true Forest will never fall and never die.

PRAUGE 2012...

We are an eclectic mix of adventurers, students, workers, travelers, aliens, wizards, doctors, space pirates, dandelions, scumbags, ragamuffins and all kinds of assorted scallywags.

We're busy doing everything in our power to stay young, change the world and piss of the rich neighbors who openly prey everyday for a meteor to come and smash our tattered old, history ridden house to pieces (probably for us to receive some grievous bodily harm in the process as well).

If you want normal, go elsewhere.
BUT! If you want something unique, something amazing, something beautiful in it's own twisted way, then please do join us.

NEW UPDATE: To our global family and friends! We're officially getting "Das Boot"!! As of the 26th of November, the magical spacetime-warp known as the Forest will end and be replaced by an ugly set of tall apartments to be filled with rich uni jocks, marketing professionals and other truly terrifying creatures. 'Tis the end of an era. Where, o' where will half of germany go to drink goon on high, unstable surfaces untill they nearly fall over? Where will couch philosophy get such a battering of culture shock at 3am on a disgustingly messy morning? Where will immigrant tourists cook and clean when I'm (frequently) too lazy to do it myself? What corners of the univerese have all the space cadets and bodhisattvas meandered off to? And when the epic, universal, reverbrating harmonic scream of "CHICKENFUCKERRRRR!!" no longer inappropriately echoes across the plains of your consciousness, where will you turn? There is, a new hope....

One night, on a drunken stumble back from the Down Under Bar, a lonely couchsurfer passed out in a bush near a bus station. His dreasms led him to a place of great peace and tranquility, floating on a white cloud above a great green forest, stretching far and wide and full of strange creatures. He floated over in wonder for hours, only to find the eastern edge of the great forest burning, thick plumes of black and acrid smoke chocking him as he flew by, his cloud staining a dirty ashen grey. He tried to gather more clouds, willing them to rain and put out the fire but it was no use and he felt all hope was lost. Then, on the far western side of the forest he saw hope. From a giant silver chicken in the sky, ninjas were parachuting down along the western edge where a thunderous river ran. As he flew closer, he saw the forest creatures being ninja thrown across the river with great speed and strength that only ninjas can summon in times of great peril. The forest creatures flew across the river, specs of foam and froth spraying them on their perfect, ninja trow trajectory and landing with a thud on the other side. The couchsurfer gawked in amazement at the immense, foreboding and utterly magnificent jungle which stood before the them all...

He was face down in the dirt underneath a bush once again. A foot was prodding him stubbornly in the back. Dry mouthed, still drunk and retching, the couchsurfer rolled onto his back to see an old man, bearded and wizened by a long, scholarly life of travelling, meditation and substance abuse. Still in a daze and half in his dream world, the couchsurfer sat up.

"Who are you?" he asked the old man.

"What did you see, my son?" asked the haggard, raggedy shape standing in the blining sunrise.

"Uh...I saw a forest. It was burning. But they were all going to the jungle. All to the jungle..." he shook his head, trying to clear away the clouds of sleep. The old man smiled quizzically, then leaned in placing his left hand on the couchsurfers shoulder.

"Young man, I am a soothe-sayer. My years of travel, meditation and substance abuse have given me sight into the unkownable future. Believe me my boy, you must go! Find this jungle! Make it yours then return the favour to the univerese and make it others'. This I have seen, and this you have seen too. You have the gift of vision my boy, blooming in your veins. Go now! Find the Jungle! Perhaps one day, we'll meet again!"

And the young couchsurfer ran, with a smile on his face, all the way to the Forest in glee, for he knew he had seen the future. He knew it, for he had seen and felt the power of the old soothe-sayer, in his eyes and in his touch. His touch. His touch?

"His touch!" said the couchsurfer to himself in horror. He remebered the encounter with the old man clearly. He remebered the left hand on his shoulder. And the right hand delving into his jacket and snatching his wallet, passport, bag of weed and cigarette pouch. He felt his pride take a kick in the nuts. He yelled "FUCK!!" a lot and broke some things. He raged about the old man to his fellow surfers and they laughed. And then he drank himself into a bitter, angry sleep at 10am.

But in his dreams...he saw the Jungle. A place for the forest creatures, a place for him. And he smiled in his drunkeness, not realizing his shoes were still on and his fellow couchserfers were drawing penises on his face.

The Jungle...coming soon...
