euh...I am open-minded, eager to meet new persons and visit new countries, rather reserved but soon at ease when I feel good and closer to the people. rather serious but always up for having fun, talking all night long, discovering new ideas and spending unforgettable moments with others. dreaming that one day I will really travel for more than 2 weeks and outside Europe like an adventurer...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to offer people a place to stay, but above all to meet people from around the world in order to contribute to building links which make all of us closer and to share and exchange ideas, dreams and intense moments.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people:

and surfed at some couchsurfer's places:
Silvia (Spain)
Yvonne (Spain)
Jun-E (Singapore).

I try to meet couchsurfers in Utrecht (Dutch and international) via events, Dutch lessons, groups etc.

I really enjoy this experience so far!

Interessen

Meeting up with friends, watching movies, going to concerts, meeting people, cooking, dancing (African dance), listening to music, singing, playing the piano, reading. Hiking, skying (not in the Netherlands unfortunately...), cycling. Visiting cities, countryside, museums.

books: from Zola, Zweig, Auster
Music: classical, jazz, French variety, world music, pop
movies: very broad taste...I love movies from Almodovar! I like rather realistic movies than science fiction. I'm not at all into horror movies.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I enjoy sharing and think everything can be shared: moments, experiences, food, things, dance, books.
I like learning from other about their life, their experience, their point of view. I want to learn more about the world, its cultures, geography, history, its people.
Teaching is trickier: apart from French and some piano and the fact that I enjoy explaining things, I do not see what I could really teach. I prefer sharing...
