I would like to learn about various cultures by staying with real people - not in resort settings. I'd like to experience regional tastes, make friends in various parts of the world, explore this amazing planet!

I am a lover of new things, an enthusiastic people person. I enjoy delving into new surroundings and meeting people - I believe you can learn from every individual you are open to. I am passionate about gardening, food, wine, and poetry.

I look forward to exciting and rewarding experiences both surfing and hosting other surfers!

This will be my first experience with CS2. My 18-year-old son and I are hoping to find a few places to stay in France this July, 2008 and will look forward to hosting folks after we return!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Given birth to and raised a funny, insightful young man. I've been fortunate to experience people from all over the world coming into my cafe and telling me about their families, their recipes, their poignant moments. I've been blessed to participate in moments of grace, passion, forgiveness, silliness, and kindness.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching about seed starting and other aspects of gardening. Also enjoy teaching how to cook and bake. Soups and cookies are specialties..

Would like to learn about others' family stories, regional foods, ways to live simply, be more appreciative of what we have, grateful for less.
