About Me
== NOT HOSTING UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15 ==
I am a Norwegian living in Copenhagen, with my Norwegian boyfriend. I am studying for a master degree in particle physics at the University of Copenhagen. Once I was a restless girl, but after falling in love with a guy and new friends I love being at home.
In my restless days I travelled in Asia for ten months. Met a lot of great people, experienced a lot, had some fun, had some depressing moments - the ambivalence of travelling. I am still doing and planning new trips, though shorter ones, but in the meantime - why not bring the world into my home?
I love being immersed in the world of physics, and at the moment that takes up most of my time. But I also enjoy reading novels from around the world, cooking (vegetarian) and writing for fun and for work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people from different cultures opens your perspective! I am very interessted in politics and society in general, and hope to learn something new from the people I meet. Either if it is a new language, a new dish or something about an unkown culture.
This year I have been couchsurfing for ten years (though with long periods that I didn't host at all)! I have only had positive experiences, and hope to gain some new ones.
Interests
Books, politics, music, dancing, knitting, photography. Work my incredible, magical sewing machine. Meeting new friends and going out. Drinking coffee and search on Wikipedia. Spend too much money on a vintage dress or a poster at the flee marked. Long week-end breakfast, cocoa and the combination of beer, wild dancing and drunk friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like jazz, like Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davies, and have a soft spot for indie pop like Bon Iver, Devandra Banhat. And I really listen to a lot of Norewegian artists, like Razika, Emilie Nicolas.
I like movies and books as well, but I never seem to remember my favourite ones...
