ABOUT ME

I'm the second of four kids born to minister parents in Santa Barbara yet despite my wacky childhood I feel like I've grown up surprisingly well-adjusted (or am at least on my way to being so.) I live to feed my curiosity and try my best to help others satisfy their own through whatever I can offer. I just want to learn about everyone and everything. I enjoy good laughs and better conversation with close friends and complete strangers, breathtaking scenery and boondoggling my afternoons away. I just enjoy watching the world and the people in it so I can get in where I fit in. Inspire me, teach me something new or change my perceptions about reality and you'll have my respect for life.

I've crashed on a few couches now and then but it's never been an exclusive lifestyle choice. I can't wait until it is, haha.

Music: Techno remixes of top 40 hits. Anything except bluegrass/country, unless it's pop country then it's ok although if it's pop it's not really country so i should probably just take it off the list. For now, favorites include damien rice, santogold, M83, britney spears (then and now), amy winehouse, beatles, depeche mode, korn, the killers, wyclef, jay z, janet jackson, kelly clarkson, mos def, def leppard, lupe fiasco, aerosmith, kanye, ratatat.

Movies: V for Vendetta, Wedding Crashers, Igby Goes Down, I Heart Huckabees, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Amores Perros, Bad Education, Waking Ned Devine, Donnie Darko, Super Troopers, Requiem for a Dream, Zoolander, anything Tarantino, Fight Club, Meet Joe Black, Sixth Sense ...liked Crash too...

Books: The Fountainhead. Read it. Love it. Live it. The 3 AM Epiphany, all things C.S. Lewis, Robert Frost and Chopin, This Side of Paradise, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Boy, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More, The Art of Fiction, Puddn'head Wilson, also Old School by Wolff isn't bad and if you ever were, want to be or are a college student you must read Tom Wolfe's I Am Charlotte Simmons...if the storyline doesn't get you the fuck patois will...
