About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission in life is to treat others the way I would like to be treated and hopefully meet some nice people along the way.
ABOUT ME
I am 56 on the outside and probably about 25 on the inside. I love to travel and see new things. I prefer travel to "Third World Countries" I would rather be with the locals than stay in a hotel like the ones down town.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a live and let live kind of guy. Just about anything is fine with me as long as it doesn't bother anyone else. I like people that are easy going and enjoy life and like to laugh a lot. If you follow politics, Ron Paul is my hero.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have lived in cars and and out under the stars
in ditches and canyons and abandoned houses, basements, attics and in a jeep without a motor. I lived in a condemned house in Colorado with about 15 Mexican Nationals. They were some of the nicest and most sincere people I have ever met. I have been sleeping on my own couch for the last 5 years I think it may be time to try someone else's. :)
Interests
Besides the obvious I enjoy Craft Brewed Beer. My tasting friends and I have sampled over 500 so far. I enjoy entertaining and I am a huge fan of the blues. I also enjoy movies. I live in a four room house but one room is a "movie theater"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hmmm amazing things. I once rode my bicycle from Miami Florida to Los Angles California to help raise money for the US Olympic Training Centers. I was the First-Aid/Massage man for two people that ran all the way.
I climbed Huayna Picchu it's not terribly dangerous but being able to look for a mile straight down is pretty cool.
Once I made the mistake of taking bread back to my hut down in the Amazon and had a midnight "visitor" walk across the roof and come down in to my sleeping area. When the sun came up what ever it was had chewed a hole in the back pocket of my pants and made off with my bread. I still have no idea what it was but I was VERY quiet until it decided to leave. I used to do a lot of "cross country" hitchhiking.
Oh yeah I was on fire one time...
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied Massage at the Mueller College of Massage in San Diego California and traveled to China to study Tuina which is a major component of Chinese medicine. I still have my table and I am willing to share what I may have learned along the way.
As I said before I am a fan of Great Beer from all over the world. I can probably come up with something you have never had before including a taste of Utoipas.
